Aspiring screenwriter here

Hey ya' all. Chad in North Vancouver here. Hows it going out there in screenwriterland? So I haven't officially wrote a screenplay yet. It is right now my dream. I have lots of ideas and a screenwriters bible. I think two of my ideas are really good ones. I'm wondering if there are any other aspiring screenwriters out there who'd be interested in being my writing partner. The two good ideas I have, one is of the fantasy genre, the other is a drama. I am looking for someone who can inspire me, as… Continue

Pitchfests?

Hello All,

Has anyone attended a Pitchfest in L.A.? Anything positive or anything to watch out for? I am currently debating about going to the Screen Writer's Convention this October in LA. Is the experience worth the cost of the trip?

Thanks in advance.

Vancouver writers get-together

Hey, anybody want to meet up this weekend?

It needn't be fancy. We're writers, for fuck's sake. We can just get coffee and pretend it's four star dining. I nominate the Blenz on Nelson and Granville at 6pm, Saturday.

Takers?

Ramifications of Homeshooling

Hello,
My name is Doris Anne Beaulieu. I have a website-Life’s Ultimate Test dot com-on which you can learn more about my mission to change the face of home schooling.
I attended a parochial school as a child in the 1950's. In this Catholic school I was sheltered from the realities of the world around me-from swearing, from public displays of affection, from slang. These are often some of the same things that modern home schooling parents aim to protect their children from. A superior court judg… Continue

NYC and Back Again!

Decided to hit the Big Apple this weekend for the first time. Left on Thursday and just got back today...Tuesday,..unfortunately...not even thinking about the fact that today is St. Patty's Day and I'm sure the parade is still happening on 5th avenue...
